Herbert Fleisch Workshop

The 2022 Herbert Fleisch Workshop in Brugge, Belgium, will be held on 20-22 November, led by experts in the field of musculoskeletal research.

The Herbert Fleisch Workshop is a 3-day residential workshop designed to bring together international investigators and young and mid-career scientists working in musculoskeletal research for a few days of learning, discussion and networking, with the hands-on participation of some of the top scientists in this field, all of whom will be present for the duration of the event.

abstract Submission

All attendees are invited, though not required, to submit abstracts for both oral and poster presentations at the meeting. Those selected for oral presentations must bring a poster about their work as well, to ensure ample discussion and feedback opportunities throughout the meeting. Submitting an abstract also entitles attendees to register for a reduced fee.

  • The abstract title is limited to 250 characters (including spaces) and the abstract text is limited to 400 words.
  • Please enter at least 1 and up to 3 keywords in the dedicated field.
  • Awards will be handed out to selected young investigators based on the submitted/presented work. Therefore, we ask you to indicate the career stage of the presenting author. (Checkboxes)
  • Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed and scored; based on the evaluations, the Scientific Committee will decide on the presentation type (oral/poster). However, you have the option to indicate if a poster presentation is your preference. (Checkbox).
  • Please indicate any IFMRS member organization that you are a member of.
Travel grants will be available to support young investigators who have submitted an abstract, based on the scientific merit of submitted work.
